Your Invited! Visit Our New HomeFree Access Design Centre
At Shoppers Home Health Care®, we have prided ourselves on having health care products, which do not always fit neatly on a store shelf, accessible to everyone. From wheelchairs to lift chairs, scooters and home care beds, our retail locations provide our customers with the opportunity to try out and experience the products that can maximize their ability to live independently.
However, among the thousands of items that we sell, some still present a challenge to any retail location. This fall, with the opening of our first HomeFree Access Design Centre in Toronto, Shoppers Home Health Care has introduced a new concept showroom to display a complete range of lifts, elevators and home access solutions.
From stair and porch lifts to home elevators, our Lifts and Elevating Division has created a space for a wide variety of accessibility and mobility devices, applying the same “handson” approach of our retail stores. The new showroom gives our customers the opportunity to try out and experience a range of accessible solutions, allowing them to make better informed decisions on what could be one of the most significant and life-changing purchases they ever make.
Our HomeFree Access Design Centre focuses on educating our clients about all of their options, allowing them to make the best decisions for themselves, their family and their situation. We give people the tools they need and help to alleviate their fears and anxiety, empowering them to meet their challenges. Our customers can meet with our team of dedicated individuals who specialize in the accessibility needs of clients, helping to create barrier-free homes and workplaces and enabling them to enjoy all facets of an independent lifestyle.
In addition to helping our customers directly, the new facility will be a significant addition to the greater health care community across the GTA, allowing us to work more closely with referral agencies and community based organizations.
Occupational Therapists, nurses and case workers can visit our showroom to gain a better understanding of the products and services that we offer, helping them to make informed recommendations when considering the needs of their clients.
Now open on Sparks Avenue (south of Steeles off Victoria Park Avenue), the HomeFree Access Design Centre joins our Automotive Division at the same location where we already display the widest choice of van conversions for the most popular and successful van models on the market today. With 17 dedicated dealerships across Canada, our Automotive Division has Canada’s largest selection of wheelchair vans in stock, ready for immediate delivery.
It is our hope that our new design centre will continue to serve the needs of our clients and community for many years to come. So please come in, take a look around, try out a device and find the home access solution that will truly make you or your loved ones HomeFree.
