FYI
Alberta Transportation publishes "Breaking Down the Barriers" three times per year. The newsletter focuses on transportation issues of interest to persons with disabilities and related organizations. They also produced the "Alberta Intercommunity Public Transportation Guide" which provides information regarding bus, rail and air routes, including accessibility information. In addition, the guide also includes rest stop information and a travel time calculator to assist travellers in their travel plans. The Alberta Guide, along with past issues of our newsletter, are available at [www.trans.gov.ab.ca] click "Barrier Free". RE: Alberta Transportation Accessibility Information

Calgary
I am bringing a group of disabled next July to calgary for the National Square dance convention. Can you tell me of any companies that can handle transfers to and from the airport and the hotel for our group of 15 of which 8 are confined to wheel-chairs. Please reply Thanks Patty www.handitravelservices.com | |
