About the Canadian Abilities Foundation

VOLUNTEERS

One of the most valuable resources of the Canadian Abilities Foundation is its team of dedicated volunteers. These folks make contributions in virtually every aspect of the organization.

You'll find them on the CAF board of directors, writing articles, reporting on special events, working on projects or helping out in any of the numerous activities necessary for CAF to be able to do what it does. People volunteer with us for many reasons. Some volunteers are people with disabilities, seeking to gain skills that will help them become more employable. Some are students, working to enhance their educational experience. Still others wish to gain experience in clerical work or improve their English language skills. And some people volunteer with us simply because they believe in what we do. Whatever their motivation, the bottom line is that all of these people want to make a difference - and, through ABILITIES, that is exactly what they do!
