Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR)
They have organized all of their information into 4 categories and for each category there is a scroll down menu on the home page. This unique setup is easy to use. On each page you can choose to either search for a key word or sentence in that area or you can just go to the table of contents. This is an information-based site. HSTAT is a free, electronic resource that provides access to the full-text of documents useful in health care decision making. HSTAT includes clinical practice guidelines, quick-reference guides for clinicians, consumer brochures, and evidence reports sponsored by the AHCPR.

This site is huge. It has everything you ever wanted to know about Canada’s health policy. It’s bilingual, has an A-Z index, and a search engine. They have a section on News, and they also have a very long list of links. Health Canada provides national leadership to develop the health policy, enforce health regulations, promote disease prevention, and create better health for all Canadians.

Health Services Utilization and Research Commission (HSURC)
HSURC is an arms-length, government-funded agency with a mandate to assess Saskatchewan’s health system and make recommendations for evidence-based change. HSURC is also the Provincial Health Research Granting Agency. There are links to related sites available, as well as a newsletter, and information on job opportunities.

Healthtouch Online
Healthtouch Online offers health, drug and product information to the user. The "Health Information" section discusses research and treatment of a list of conditions such as diabetes, depression, AIDS/HIV and multiple sclerosis. "Drug Information" provides a searchable database of over 7,000 prescription and over-the-counter medications, including information such as proper usage and possible side effects. Also available is a keyword search through health information documents.
