craftmatic adjustable bed

I have a craftmatic adjustable bed available if anyone is interested. It is slightly larger then a single but not quite a double and has not been used very much at all. It was bought and rarely used and unfortunately my mother passed away and the bed is of no use now and I would like very much to have someone who would make good use of it have it. The bed is very good for anyone with back problems or circulatory problems in their legs to name a few areas of concern as you are able of course to elevate the bed to accomodate where necessary, it also vibrates and has heat settings. I would like to know that the bed is going to someone who can put it to good use and be able to benefit from it considerably. Please contact me at the email above if you are interested.

I have had three laminectomies with the last one including metal rods and screws in my spine. I have degenerative bone disease of the spine and arthritis. I had to leave work and am now receiving disability from social security, my sole income. I can only walk about three blocks so don't get out much except to food shop. I live in a low income housing building in Honolulu and spend all of my days with back pain. Might be interested in your bed if I can afford it. I don't know where you are but I know the shipping costs would be high from the mainland to Hawaii. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks

We are interested in an adjustable bed for my mother-in-law. She has conjestive heart failure and osteoporosis. She has had two hip replacements and is very weak causing problems getting up out of bed. She has fallen several times getting out of bed and we feel the adjustable bed may reduce her risk of falling.

Are you serious son(just kidding)how rude to be called son by a stranger. $9,000 that's outrageous...Are they really that much...wow!I love my king water bed but my partner is so uncomfortable I added more water it made the bed firmer and my partner was more comfortable but now I have to drain some water out because I am miserable. My partner and I live 800 miles apart for now. So we thought we would start looking early for a bed that we could both be comfortable in when we move in together. I had no idea the craftmatic was so expensive. And we of course want a King Size bed because I have a King water bed and she has a King regular bed. And we would want the split kind so that she could adjust her side to be firmer than my side. That's probably $20,000 and of course we want heat and massage because I am use to a heated water bed...Jeeze I could go get back surgery for what this bed's gonna cost me..Thanks for your post. I'm sorry you have had so much trouble from these people...thanks for the warning. I'm so glad I didn't give my real phone number.

I have a craftmatic adjustable bed for sale. My mother-in-law slept on in for one night and found that she liked her previous bed better. It is 39x74 twin size bed with mattress. It has the deluxe varitable massage with wave and ther thermal heat unit. It includes two fitted sheets and a pad. My mother-in-law purchased it from Craftmatic for $2,980.65. It is in brand new condition. We tried to return it to the company but could not since she slept the one night on it. She will sell it for the best offer. We are located in Wichita Kansas and the purchaser would be responsible for pick up or shipping charges. I would be happy to send pictures or video.

If anyone here is interested, I have a Craftmatic Adjustable bed available for purchase -- it is a full-size (54x74) Model I bed. The foundation has commercial grade Hubbell level I non-maintenance lift motors and a massage unit, and the mattress is a 312 coil count innersprin dual density mattress. The original price of the bed was $4599 when it was bought in August 2004, and the price now is negotiable. The bed, foundation and mattress and all, is in excellent condition and is now in storage.

I am located in Olney, Illinois; please contact me by phone (618-393-7050; ask for Mary or Caryol) or by e-mail (marymcglasson@yahoo.com) if you are interested! Remember, the price is negotiable; we really just want someone to be able to get some good use out of it.

Thank you!

My mother has just been pressurised into buying a craftmatic bed. She lives in the UK and they charged her over four thousand pounds stirling for the bed. She doesnt like it, never wanted it and it doesnt have the features listed in the brochure that the saleman gave her. She is so upset - she cant sleep !!!! The salesman telephoned and persuaded her to let him give her demonstration, although of course he didnt bring a bed with him. He gave the hard sell and left with a signed sales contract - the bed was delivered the very next day.

I do not need the bed but would sure like to find out where you can purchase sheets for these beds. My brother who was just given one of these beds does not have any sheets for it, and I have had no luck finding any. If you do know where you can purchase some, please let me know. Thank you. Jacky

Jacky: If it is a Double Size Bed normal sheets should fit, that will depend of the height of the mattress of course, or maybe you could try a size larger; If it is a Double Size Bed, try Queen size sheets; If it is a Queen Size Bed, try King Size sheets.
Hope this help you.

need oone craftmatic II used bed or better yet 2 of them purchased as a "king size" bed. I have a twin (or had)that I used for my Mom beforee she passed on in 5/03. We kept it in immaculate shape, however my father's girlfriend will not allow me to have it back "easily!", I also am so allergic to her perfume, I am afraid she has deliberately sprayed it down thoroughly (yes, she is that mean and selfish-I left it at Dad's until i needed it and agreed that I could take it whenever I did need it to care for someone else in my home....it is what I did before falling victim to MS. I did respite and case mangement)Now I NEED IT, BUT SO DOES MY HUSBAND...life is funny that way!
Can not afford new ones, know the relief they give, and am trying everything to try to get two that are about the same....but we both need different adjustments. Husband has arthritis and COPD, and the MS is a blur of daily ostacles that complicate osteo arthritis in spine, nueralgia of legs and arms, spinal stenosis...ect. Yes, I am still alive at 51, I am a "senior" before my time, but my husband is 67 and definately a "senior" as much as he hates to "give in to it and the barriers it hasmade for him.
Thank you for any responses to our need for adjustable beds....unless someone is handing out cash...we need to do with what we can find.

God Bless......kc
