The City of Toronto is presently accepting nominations for the City of Toronto's Access. Equity and Human Rights Awards. The awards recognize individuals and/ organizations who have made a difference in the city by striving for equitable treatment of women, contributing to race relations or improving access for people with disabilities. These awards are the Constance E. Hamilton Award, William P. Hubbard Race Relations Award and the Access Award. This year two new awards have been established. The Pride Award for persons or organizations who have made a significant contribution to the well-being of the LGBTT community. The second new award is the Aboriginal Affairs Award for a person or organization that has made a significant contribution to the quality of life for the Aboriginal community. **Sign Language for Kids**
"ASL ABCs," a new television series produced by TVOntario to
increase awareness about Deaf culture, explores the alphabet
through sign language. Airing on TVOntario on weekday mornings,
it is produced with the cooperation of Happy Hands Preschool, Bob
Rumball Centre for the Deaf in Toronto. For more information,

** New International Citizenship Group Seeks Participation **
Disability activist Judith Snow has announced her intention to
develop an worldwide coalition of citizens committed to
inclusion. The International Association for Inclusive
Citizenship (IAIC) seeks membership (especially on founding
committees), ideas, volunteer fundraisers, and assistance in
getting the message out to other interested individuals. For more
